The office is an Islamic charity organization sponsored by the efforts of volunteers and the donations of benefactors.
It was established on Tuesday 28 th Sha'ban 1414 H, under the authority of Sheikh Abdul-Aziz bin Abdulla bin Baz, may Allah's mercy be upon him, the highest Mufti of Saudi Arabia.
The office is functioning under the supervision of the ministry of Islamic Affairs.
