Question: Dear sheikh, in wudho the whole beard should be wet or if just by rubbing wet hands on the beard will be enough. Keeping in mind that hairs of my beard are not that much thick.

Answer: There have been some scholars who claimed that the one who performs wud�' should wash his entire beard or, otherwise, his wud�' will be invalid. However, I support the other opinion in this case that only the face must be washed, because the beard is not considered part of the face in this matter.
