Question: Respected scholars of Islam, As-Salamu `alaykum. Could you please furnish me with the Islamic ruling regarding whether wearing lipstick renders one�s fasting invalid or not? Your earliest response will be very much appreciated. Jazakum Allahu Khyran!

�A woman is allowed to wear lipstick during the daytime of Ramadan if she is sure that nothing from that lipstick will go to her stomach. However, if any of that lipstick reaches the woman�s stomach, then her fasting becomes invalid."
