Question: Assalamu Alaikum. I would like to know if it is acceptable in Islam to give Aqiqah money to the charitable organization like Eid who use this money to buy goats and slaughter and distribute to poor.

Response: That is permissible as long as these organizations do the required slaughtering in the Islamic prescribed manner on behalf of those who paid. They are in effect acting as the agent of the person.
