| Argument And Divorce | ------ 1/22/2004 ------ |
|
Question : My husband and I argue on a constant basis and he blames me for every argument. We don't live with each other because of previous problems and it's getting to the point where it is very difficult for us to talk without arguing and am having second thoughts about going back to live with him. Is this reason to divorce?
Response: The Teacher at the Grand Mosque(Mecca.)
If you have children you have to fear Allah and be patient and treat your husband well. Do not ask for divorce without legal or valid reasons if you can manage to live with him .Our Prophet (Peace be upon him) said: "Any woman requested her husband to divorce her without a valid reason will not smell the scent of Paradise." However, if marriage life has become impossible between you, then it is alright to ask for divorce. Allah says: "But if they separate Allah will provide abundance for each of them from His All-reaching bounty.
